Kubernetes setup and operations

On managed cloud or your own hardware: cluster architecture, installation, version upgrades and day-2 operations. Workload isolation, autoscaling and the distributed storage layer are within scope.

Proxmox and hybrid infrastructure

An option for predictable workloads: Proxmox virtualization on dedicated servers, hybrid scenarios and cloud repatriation programs. We also use this architecture in our own production environments.

CI/CD pipeline delivery

An automated, auditable path from commit to production: build, test, image creation and staged deployment. This reduces the operational risk of manual releases.

Observability and continuity

Metrics, dashboards and log management are centralized with Prometheus, Grafana and Loki. Layered backups, a disaster-recovery plan and incident runbooks are integral to the delivery.

How we work

  1. 01 Infrastructure Audit Existing systems, risks and costs are documented; work begins with a map of the current state.
  2. 02 Architecture Design Target architecture, migration plan and capacity calculations are prepared. Downtime windows and rollback plans are defined up front.
  3. 03 Setup & Migration Phased migration: parallel build first, then controlled traffic cutover. High-risk big-bang migrations are avoided.
  4. 04 Continuous Operations A defined operating model with monitoring, alert chains, backup verification and runbooks; handed over or continued by our team according to scope.

Our infrastructure practice is informed by Kubernetes, Proxmox, distributed storage, load balancing and backup experience from our own production environments. This perspective keeps operating responsibility in view, not only initial setup.

End-to-end responsibility, setup through operations

We work in two models: building infrastructure from scratch, and taking over existing systems. In both, capacity planning, cost management and incident procedures are part of the delivery: systems are handed over not merely running, but observable and recoverable.

A measurable operations standard

Depending on scope, metric collection, centralized logging and alert chains are established so capacity and cost decisions can be supported by data. Backup and restore validation are planned against the agreed recovery objectives.

When dedicated infrastructure makes sense

For organizations with predictable workloads, dedicated hardware and cloud options are compared across cost, elasticity and operating effort. Capacity planning, hardware selection, installation and ongoing operating boundaries are made visible in one roadmap.

Who we work with

We typically see two profiles. The first is product companies whose cloud bill keeps growing and who want to cut cost structurally; for this profile a hybrid roadmap is designed together with our AWS and cloud cost work. The second is organizations whose infrastructure has become dependent on a single person or an undocumented setup; here the risk is closed first with an audit and documentation, and an operations standard is established on top.

After an audit of the current state and risks, the transfer scope, improvement plan, access and responsibilities can be defined together.

Cloud or our own hardware?

The decision depends on workload profile, growth expectations, the team's operating capability and budget. Cloud, dedicated and hybrid options are compared using measured data.

Will there be downtime during migration?

The possibility of downtime depends on the current architecture. Parallel builds, staged traffic cutover, maintenance windows and rollback plans are documented in the migration design.

How is the operations-support scope defined?

Support hours, alert classes, response targets, escalation and reporting are defined in the project-specific agreement.
