Problem
Podcast listening was growing in Turkey, but no Turkish-focused platform brought local creators together.
Solution
Turkey's first podcast platform: web application, publisher panel, audio-distribution infrastructure and mobile app, built together with the system software.

In 2019 podcast listening in Turkey was growing fast, but creators were scattered across foreign platforms and discovering Turkish content was nearly impossible. Podbia was born to fill that gap under the motto “Listen, Learn, Share”: Turkey’s first local podcast platform.
The platform’s layers
We built three main layers. On the listener side, web and mobile apps: category-based discovery, subscriptions, offline listening and resume playback. On the publisher side, a dedicated panel: episode uploads, scheduling, listening statistics and follower analytics. On the infrastructure side, audio storage, adaptive streaming and RSS distribution, every show on Podbia could also syndicate to other podcast apps via standard RSS.
Outcome
Podbia gathered hundreds of local publishers under one roof and became one of the early building blocks of Turkey’s podcast ecosystem. Every technical layer, from product design to audio distribution, was our team’s delivery.
